As much as we love hosting, when it comes to a party – whether it be a dinner party, office function or special event celebration – we are big believers in outsourcing to the pros.

After all, while we’d like to imagine ourselves calmly putting together a grazing board, floating through our kitchen with ease, whipping up a batch of cocktails… It’s less Nara Smith domestic bliss and more running around like a headless chook.

So whether your vision is for a charming garden soiree, a chic cocktail and canapé do or a relaxed long table lunch… C.Y. O’Connor Village Precinct has the spot to suit.

Soak up the spring sunshine at Tilly’s Garden, where they’ll keep you and your guests sated with their selection of Asian-fusion bites: like crowd-favourite oysters, satay, delicious dumplings and bouncy bao – available as canapes, grazing boards or a five course sit down menu. Of course, a garden party isn’t complete without a refreshing cocktail – and Tilly’s will sort you out with all inclusive beverage packages that include bespoke cocktails, or shareable 5L cocktails (think Lotus Spritz, Peach & Pomegranate Fizz or Tilly’s Mojito!), or their signature Bubbly Bar with DIY garnishes.

While we normally save succulent steaks at The Steak House for date night, the intimate restaurant is also the perfect spot for a premium function offering – whether you’re settling into the dining room for a decadent, intimate dinner or in the outdoor alfresco, able to host up to 80 of your nearest and dearest.

The Steak House team are experts in all things beef – they even have their very own family owned and operated Melaleuka Farm – so canapés like beef chorizo with pedro ximenez and house hummus, beef tartare with smoked egg fudge, or beef schnitzel with warm saltimbocca potato salad are as good as you’d expect.

And while their beef is the star of the show, their other bites are just as enticing – like fresh oysters, lamb meatballs with tomato sugo, barramundi with chimichurri on a salt-baked crostini, or chicken lollipops with creamy labneh, not to mention a full list of dessert canapes.

Keep things easy and breezy at the C.Y. O’Connor Village Pub, winner of the 2023 WA’s Best Casual Pub Dining award. The well-loved pub is the beating heart of the precinct – back, bigger and better than ever after being destroyed in a tragic fire back in 2021.

Catering to up to 100 guests in both indoor and outdoor spaces, dive into their signature pub platters with favourites such as steak sandwiches, sliders and pizza platters, or sweet & savoury grazing charcuterie boards with premium Melaleuka Farm cured and smoked meats and petit desserts.

Check out the precinct’s full range of function offerings at the  C.Y. O’Connor Village Precinct website.
