Their new tapas menu, launching July 31, features the likes of torched salmon, handmade empanadas filled with beef, sweet corn, and chimichurri, and rich Basque cheesecake paired with poached rhubarb.

But it’s their new paella offering we’re really salivating over – every Friday from 12-2pm until late August, Heno & Rey are bringing the tantalising taste of paella to Perth’s streets.

For just $19 you can enjoy a hearty serving of this classic dish from the comfort of their vibrant streetside alfresco, wrapping up your work week with a lunchtime treat that’ll transport you straight to the heart of a Spanish plaza (who needs a Europe holiday!?).

If you want to make it a paella party – book ahead with a party of 10 for a build-your-own Paella experience – a bespoke family-style paella feast that includes a seafood addition of your choice, served with two complimentary jugs of Sangria and two family-style salads for $30 per person.

Or for an even more indulgent afternoon, you can’t go past the High Tea Tapas events taking place on July 13 and and 20.

$55pp (or $85 with 2 hours of free flowing wine and cava) will have you enjoying a set menu of empanadas, patatas bravas, tomato bread, and a selection of cheeses and Jamón, or indulging your sweet tooth with warm chocolate churros, Basque cheesecake, and pastel de nata.
