The winter doldrums are long in the rear vision mirror and Kings Square’s inner city oasis is back and bigger than never, with the Altos Tequila beer garden bringing special cocktails, long lunch packages and somer serious summer parties:

SIP SIP SESSIONS – Bottomless Margaritas

This summer’s ultimate lunching experience is back every Saturday and Sunday at 11.30am or 2pm, with two hours of free-flowing Olmeca Altos margaritas and select wines, sparkling and tap beer and cider, plus three courses of shared grazing plates, all for just $79pp. On the grazing front you can expect guac and plantain chips, corn elote, slow cooked Barbacoa beef ribs and tequila cured kingfish – perfect sunny day delights! NEW SPRING COCKTAILS

Alongside the Market Grounds’ delicious array of snacks, they’ve just launched a special spring cocktail menu including Olmeca Altos tequila tipples, boozy slushies, Early Grey Palomas, Tommy’s margies or frozen watermelon margaritas for the warmer days.

MERCADO NIGHTS

Thursday nights have just gotten a little more spicy with the launch of Mercado Nights, featuring slinky Latin beats mixed with mouthwatering South American eats and cocktails from 7pm. DJ Pixie Sanchez is your musical hostess with the mostess, slinging the Latin-themed soundtrack while you enjoy $15 pisco sours, margarita and mojito drink specials, plus $15 food specials including empanadas, ceviche, and salchipapas.
