As the days get shorter (and colder) we know it can be tempting to tuck into hibernation mode, but to do so would be to deny yourself an array of eating and drinking delights with the return of Plating Up WA, a Buy West Eat Best initiative.

One of the biggest months on Western Australia’s culinary calendar, this June dozens of venues around the State will be serving up mouth-watering meals made from only the best fresh local produce, with everything from fine dining to casual cafes to choose from.

Bib & Tucker

The initiative is an opportunity to shine a warm, bright light on the local food and beverage industry including WA’s awesome local suppliers during the darker months of winter, while also reminding us of the importance of socialising – the ultimate compliment to good food is great company after all!

From the Mid-West to the Southwest, Great Southern, CBD and Swan Valley to Goldfields Esperance and even in Singapore, there are dishes and delights out there to suit all occasions and budgets.

Check out a few of the highlights from over 40 venues below, and head to Plating Up WA to see the rest and start planning your special meal (or two) this June.
