Autumn is underway, temperatures have dropped a couple of degrees… Change is in the air! Luckily enough for us, our enviable weather means that we’re still looking for any excuse to soak up the sunshine, have a couple of drinks and maybe indulge in some delicious produce. What a dream, right?

Market Grounds is welcoming in the changing seasons with a brand new menu, celebrating the joy of shared meals with your nearest and dearest – whether that’s family, friends or your most valued business clients.

Linking Northbridge and the CBD, Market Grounds takes its name from historic Old Perth Markets that were once in its place – and fittingly, Area Chef Alex Baglin’s new menu utilises some of WA’s most stunning produce.

Local snapper crudo and char-grilled WA octopus lead the charge on the seafood front, or graze over smokey, coal-fired cuttlefish skewers, topped with a fiery nduja gremolata.

Fancy digging into something more substantial? Margaret River grade 7 wagyu with Jerusalem artichoke and a decadent jus will certainly hit the spot – or get a little spicy with the char-grilled glazed boneless chicken, accompanied by a picante Peruvian-inspired aji verde and pickled jalapeño.

Of course, none of this would be complete without a little sweet treat to finish, right? Deep fried ice cream will more than do the trick – especially paired with crunchy nuts and whiskey.

Feeling thirsty? Let the team take you on a flavourful journey with a cheeky wine pairing for your share plates, or wet your whistle with one of the team’s signature cocktails.
