The Twilight Hawkers Market, WA’s original (and biggest) street food market is making its triumphant return to the streets of Perth this week, running every Friday over summer from 4.30pm until 9.30pm, until March 31.
Having taken up residence since 2011, the Twilight Hawkers Market is a mouth-watering showcase of food, flavours and culture from around the world.
It’s the perfect spot for an after-work feed or to stop off during Friday night shopping. With up to 30 vendors to choose from offering a delicious array of affordable cuisines every week, including Indonesian, Filipino, Nepalese, Italian, Polish, French, Brazilian, Indian, Malaysian and so much more! Not to mention heaps of vego, vegan, GF, halal and dairy free options.
There’ll also be roving entertainers, live music and new public arts to be enjoyed along with all the great food, not to mention a host of great events in the city happening around the markets including:
- Telethon (October 22-23), which is returning to the city at RAC Arena along with a huge family festival on Wellington Street between RAC and Yagan Square;
- Christmas Twilight Markets (November 18), an exclusively handmade market featuring live music, food vendors, face painting and of course, Santa;
- Christmas Lights Trail (November 18-January 2), showcasing over 30 unique large-scale light installations across 6km of the city!
If you’re heading in from out of the City you can also take advantage of the free parking from 6pm every week night thanks to City Of Perth Parking (along with three hours free on weekends).
