Clear your calendars and dig out your most fabulous, extravagant outfit: The Art Gallery of Western Australia’s iconic ART BALL is back – and joining forces with PrideFEST for the ultimate party!

Returning on Saturday 9 November, every level of the gallery will be transformed into one night of Queer heaven: an eclectic three levels of art, music, dance and all-round extravagance.

Overlooking the sparkling city skyline, the AGWA Rooftop will be host to a stunning lineup of some of the world’s most talented LGBTQIA+ artists, including the extraordinary, soaring baritone of the UK’s Le Gateau Chocolat.

(Speaking of chocolate… You’ll be welcomed by delicious drinks and roaming canapés served throughout the evening.)

Plus, bringing their signature dose of boundary-pushing camp spectacle: the glimmering, avante-garde performance artists The Huxleys. And if you channel their technicolour, glitter-fuelled style with your own fabulously creative outfit, you may be selected as the inaugural AGWA GLAMBASSADOR for 2024!

The night isn’t over yet, though! After dancing the night away at AGWA… Keep the party going ‘til the sun rises at the official after-party at Connections – where else?

If you’re looking for some inspo in the lead-up to the big party, the AGWA Design Store will be transformed into Queer HQ for the entire month of November, with a spectacular array of LGBTQIA+ design sourced from near and far.

AGWA is also on the hunt for its inaugural AGWA Glambassador! For your chance to be crowned AGWA Glambassador – get your tickets to AGWA Art Ball x Pride and dress with pride, flair and fabulosity. You could be the lucky winner of a stunning pair of Keiko Uno “Fragments” earrings featuring aquamarine stones, valued at $1,200. Perth jeweller Keiko Uno draws on her Japanese heritage to create original designs, travelling the world to hand-select gemstones for jewellery.

  • After-party at Connections Nightclub (free entry)
