It feels like forever since we’ve had a proper blues music festival in Western Australia, and that’s all about to change this April with the arrival of the Bluesfest Perth – a huge day of live music coming to the beautiful banks of the Swan River at Nikola Estate on Saturday 1 April.

Coming to you from the same team behind Byron Bay’s iconic Bluesfest, it’s kicking off with an incredible lineup of GRAMMY Award winners, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees, ARIA Award winners and some of the world’s most exciting young blues artists.

The Doobie Brothers Bluesfest

Taking headline duties will be none other than American rock icons and four-time GRAMMY winners The Doobie Brothers (pictured above), who’ll be joined by fellow American rockers Counting Crows and one of the world’s most beloved artists – Michael Franti & Spearhead.

They’ll be more than ably backed up by legendary Freo singer/songwriter John Butler (pictured above), ARIA Award winner Jessica Mauboy and Christone “Kingfish” Ingram – pictured up the top and earmarked by Rolling Stone as “one of the most exciting young guitarists in years.”

With more artists on the way, Bluesfest Perth looks set to become a must-go music festival on Perth’s annual events calendar, and this is your chance to be there from day one!

Tickets are on sale now via the Bluesfest Perth Website.
