A Midsummer Night’s Dream Under The Stars: Shakespeare In The Park Is Back This Summer
Shakespeare in the Park is a classic institution – not just in the Big Apple but around the world, and after a seven year hiatus from Perth performances, the Bard is finally back!
Presented with the support of Bankwest, this uniquely Western Australian take on Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is performed by the Fremantle Theatre Company. Having already thrilled audiences in Margaret River and Bunbury over the New Year’s period, the passionate troupe of boundary-pushing theatre makers have one more stop in Albany tomorrow night before heading back our way for some special shows under the stars.
First they’ve got four nights in Fremantle’s beautiful Walyalup Koort from January 12, before finishing with an extended run against the stunning backdrop of King Park’s Botanic Gardens January 19-22 and 25-29.
