Perth’s best op shop hubs to get your winter wardrobe sorted for less!

You’ll find clusters of independent and big-name stores all in close proximity to each other, meaning you can visit one after the other without having to travel by car – check out some of the best spots below:
Albany Highway, Cannington and Kenwick
On the corner of Kent Street and Albany Highway in Cannington you’ll find one of Perth’s most popular op shop hangs. You’ve got a massive Vinnies WA, Salvos and Good Sammy to sift through, along with the Masonic Charity Outlet. And if you’re still on the hunt, you can pop over the road to the Save The Children Op Shop as well.
You can also head further south along Albany Highway towards Kenwick, where you’ll find some smaller stores like Vinnies Kenwick, Forever Love, HDSTREETWISE and Good Sammy’s Maddington.
Scarborough Beach Road, Mount Hawthorn
This one’s a smaller hub nice and close to the CBD, where you’ll find a Red Cross and Salvos right next door to each other. From there it’s a short walk west along Scarborough Beach Road to Vinnies Mount Hawthorn, and a Save The Children shop a few blocks away on the corner of London and Green Street.
High Road, Willetton
If you’re chasing an op shop south of the city, the Willetton Road hub on High Road is another fantastic option. There you’ll find a Vinnies WA, Good Sammy and Paraquad all right next to each other. While just a short walk along High Road in either direction you can find Save The Children and/or Salvos Willetton.
Erindale Road, Balcatta
Just next to the freeway in Balcatta you’ll find a massive Vinnies WA and Good Sammy, with a Paraquad op shop and bookstore just next door. From there, it’s just a few minutes around the corner to find the Balcatta Road Salvos.
Abernethy Road, Belmont
Another one of Perth’s most popular op shop clusters, they are all basically in the same building! You’re spoilt for choice with Vinnies WA, Red Cross, Good Sammy and Salvos all sharing the same carpark.
Railway Avenue, Kelmscott + Ranford Road, Southern River
The Kelmscott cluster of shops along Railway Avenue is a little more spread out, but more than worth your time. There are small independent stores like Community First, Forget Me Not, Charity Op Shop and 2nd Chance Community Op Shop, while there’s also a Good Sammy up the road at Stargate Shopping Centre in Kelmscott.
As we’re getting further out, you’re increasing your chances of a few more niche finds, with the Ranford Road hub in Southern River home to Take 2, Salvos, Good Sammy and Southern River.
