You’ll be able to attain utmost tranquility at Pickering Brook’s Hidden Valley Eco Lodges and Day Spa – a sprawling 13.5 acre property that features a whopping eight beds and ten baths across its main residence and five spa lodges.

Only 30 minutes from the city, the Pickering Brook retreat is nestled amongst jarrah forest, and is on the doorstep of the Bickley Valley – home to countless picturesque vineyards and artisan food producers. It’s also only 10 minutes from Kalamunda… Just think of how close you’ll be to the farmer’s markets, the Cheese Shop, or weekend hikes to Lesmurdie Falls or picnics at Araluen.

The main house is constructed out of spectacular rammed earth, with a large open-plan living area, three spacious bedrooms and a large bathroom. The real appeal though, has got to be that alfresco entertaining area, complete with a daybed and a private jacuzzi that looks out over lush forest.

You can still take advantage of those magnificent bush views from inside though, with the open plan kitchen and living space featuring large sliding doors, as well as the bedrooms’ huge windows onto the surrounding forest.

As for the spa accommodation? Also rammed earth, each of the five 70 square metre lodges boasts a king-size bed, log fire, fully equipped kitchen and – of course! – a private heated jacuzzi!
