There’s nothing that really gets our juices flowing more than news of beautiful abandoned spaces around Perth finding new life, and the upcoming Liberty Alive Festival looks like it’s going to be a hot ticket over the next few weeks.

This immersive experience of live music, art, craft beer and wine, local food and good times is headed to the heart of Perth’s CBD thanks to the masters of unique events in excellent spaces around Perth – Otherside Brewing Co and Crafted Events.

Kicking off November 17 and running Thursday to Saturdays for four weeks, iconic Perth cinema the Liberty Theatre (pictured above) and its rear laneway will be home to a beautiful blend of live music shows, bars, DJs, street art, fantastic food vendors and more.

Every night from 5pm (Thur-Sat) all are welcome to pop into the festoon light-lined laneway for drinks, eats and tunes, before ascending into the theatre for the night’s gig in the peeling paint-clad walls of the revived main hall.

And what a spectacular lineup of artists they’ve lined up, including some of Perth’s most exciting emerging artists, alongside some of the country’s most popular acts including Body Type, BAD//DREEMS, Methyl Ethel’s Precent i, Adrian Dzvuke, Alter Boy, Jaguar Jonze and even Mama Kin Spender joined by the WAAPA Gospel Choir.
