Lock it, leave it, charge it: RAC Arena’s Smart Bike Hub is free for anyone to use

It’s 2024 and we’ve got a clean energy future on our minds!

And part of that is getting to work, or play, using alternative modes of transport, like e-bikes and e-scooters.

Enter RAC Arena’s Smart Bike Hub. Thanks to their mates at RAC, you can access it for free, whether you’re coming to work in the CBD, or heading to one of the venue’s many awesome events.

So how does it work? It’s super easy, just follow these steps:

• Download the Bikeep app, your key to locking and unlocking your parking bay.
• Check for available bays, able to be booked an hour in advance.
• Approach the hub, located off Milligan St, past the yellow pineapple, and follow the floor arrows to access your bay (BYO cable to use the charging facilities).
• Lock your bay and walk away!
• When you’re ready to unlock your bike or scooter, jump back into the Bikeep app and follow the steps.

Regular bikes can also be safely parked at the Hub, with no BYO lock required! And the best part is, you’ll have peace of mind knowing your rideable is securely locked, with real-time tracking via the Bikeep app.
