Get ready to test some friendships and challenge your noggin – Perth’s most immersive escape rooms are expanding to a gigantic second location in the CBD.

The team behind it, Escape This in Northbridge, is already home to Perth’s only 18+ horror-themed escape rooms with super spooky challenges that’ll scare your socks off – if you live to tell the tale, that is.

Since opening in their haunted Lake Street home in 2020, Escape This has tested the wits of over 100,00 players across 10 totally immersive rooms – and the brand new location is set to add even more mystery and madness with 15 new themes!

Taking over a huge space within the Hay Street Mall, the new rooms will span across over 750sqm, making them the largest escape rooms in the southern hemisphere.

Unlike its spooky Northbridge sister however, the Hay Street location will focus on adventure-themed escape rooms, with something for all ages including Ancient Egyptian mythology, bank heists, dragon’s dungeons, wild west jailbreaks and more!

There’ll also be brand new adventures to explore – and eventually escape – including sequels to some of their most well-loved (and highly rated) challenges. Personally, we can’t wait to be transported to a magical world with their new Alice in Wonderland themed room!

To celebrate the opening, Escape This has come up with the ultimate challenge for escape room fiends! The epic scavenger “Packhunt” will journey between the new CBD venue and the original Northbridge location – make sure to bring your thinking cap and a sense of adventure!
