Whether you’re travelling to Busselton to soak up the South West’s coastal beauty or you’re lucky enough to be a local, the schmick new redevelopment of Busselton Central is big news!

The final stage of the multi-phase $45 million project is about to be completed, with a huge new roster of dining, shopping and entertainment retailers ready and waiting for your next beaut Busso adventure.

Bunbury and Australind favourite Benesse have triumphantly swung open their doors, bringing some big brunch game to Busselton. From the hangover-busting (hello, fried chicken and pancakes) to the healthy, their brekkies are enough to get anyone out of bed in a rush – not to mention nourishing lunches like summery squid salad, veggie-packed grain bowls or a Vietnamese-inspired beef and noodle salad.

“This third Benesse feels like a natural extension of our offering,” said owner Anthony Pulumbo, pictured below. “The location is amazing, and these first weeks of trade have made us feel really welcome to Busselton.”

For dining from sunrise to well past sunset, you can’t go past Inara.

The elegant dining room is pared-back – but the flavours sure aren’t. Celebrated chef and owner Daniel Johnson (pictured below) is dishing up a menu inspired by the flavours of the Levantine: you can expect to find pillowy flatbreads, succulent lamb belly shawarma with tarator, enticingly charred Exmouth octopus served alongside za’atar potato crisps, or oyster mushroom souvlaki with walnut skordalia, preserved lemon and parsley.

We haven’t even told you about the breakfast menu, which similarly takes a trip through the Levant with Turkish eggs, spinach and feta-stuffed brik served with sumac-cured salmon, saffron-infused bircher or the requisite, always popular shakshuka!

Before the summer is out, we will also enjoy the arrival of the much-anticipated Busselton Pavilion – a wine store, providore, restaurant and distillery from the Parker Group, the minds behind The Royal Hotel, The Standard, Dandelion and more – plus, the arrival of a brand-spankin’ new Dôme, one of over 65 across Australia.

Of course, we’re particularly food-motivated individuals – with over 14 new retailers, there’s plenty more on offer at Busselton Central for your next date night or family-friendly day out.

Catch the latest blockbuster at one of the new Reading Cinemas’ five huge screens, all with full recliner seating – including an epic Titan Luxe auditorium with mind-bending Dolby Atmos sound, plus a bespoke menu for in-theatre dining.

After your movie, test friendships and family ties with a few games at Timezone. Jam-packed with a huge range of the latest arcade games, it’s a technicolour, flashing guarantee of fun for every age – and hopefully a few prizes, too!

With a huge range of old favourites and brand new retailers, you can shop ‘til you drop and tackle your Christmas list in time for a cheeky cocktail at Inara.

There’s heaps more to discover at this brand new precinct – to find out more visit the Busselton Central website.
