Get Ready To Rock! High Voltage Is Taking Over The Streets And Parks Of Freo This May
One of the most talked about parties on the Perth events calendar in recent years was the now-iconic Highway To Hell, which saw almost 150,000 punters line Canning Highway for an epic day celebrating live music and the spirit of AC/DC frontman Bon Scott.
And in 2023 that spectacular event will be reborn as High Voltage, taking over the streets of Walyalup/Fremantle on Sunday 7 May!
Seven flatbed trucks will become live music stages, making their way around a 5km street circuit in Freo with an array of eclectic takes on Aussie rock’n’roll from some of the state’s (and country’s) best bands.
Fans can rock out at dedicated truck stops over the course of the day, or hang out at three huge entertainment zones to create the ultimate Sunday afternoon in Fremantle for fans and families alike.
While some of the lineup is still to be announced, we can reveal that Aussie rock icon DIESEL will be performing, alongside singer/songwriter/comedian Eddie Perfect, Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, all-female punkers Body Type, Katy Steele and more.
