Part of the Festive Lights and Summer Nights series of events, the action kicked off last weekend with the Lotterywest Festive Lights at Elizabeth Quay, which saw over over 14,000 attendees across the two nights. The popular Rio Tinto Christmas Lights Trail is also well underway, running from November 22 – January 1.

This weekend (December 7), fireworks will be igniting near Council House and St Georges Terrace as part of the annual Christmas Pageant celebrations.

The Elizabeth Quay Fun Fair will run from December 6 to January 9, with fireworks shows on December 14 and 28, as well as January 4, 11 and 18 as part of the fair. December 21 will be a combined fireworks show for the fun fair as well as Carols in the City, set to be held at the Supreme Court Gardens.

Plus, New Year’s Eve will see two fireworks shows at Elizabeth Quay: one at 8:30PM for families, as well as midnight fireworks to welcome in 2025!
