We love a good elevator pitch as much as the next person, so when new local business Positively Green came to us and said, “It’s like a pool guy, for your lawn” – we were sold. It’s the brainchild of Michael Maartensz, who started out as a young whipper snapper (snipper?) helping his dad take care of the pristine playing surfaces at Dalkeith Tennis Club. After a lifetime of turf management for local councils, the University Of Western Australia, a plethora of Perth schools, golf courses and sports club, Maartensz decided to turn his care and attention to detail for great lawn to the domestic market.
Enter Positively Green, a subscription service that leaves your lawn care to the professionals (as in the guys who look after the WACA professionals), in the process saving you a heap of money and improving environmental impacts.
