You may have heard of Pride & Prejudice with zombies, but now it’s time to ready your frocks, pack the picnic rug and head to Rooftop Theatre for a fair dinkum funny retelling of Jane Austen’s classic this April.
After eight years of sold out shows and numerous awards, the team behind FRINGE WORLD favourite, Bogan Shakespeare, cordially invite you to BOGAN LITERATURE: PRIDE & PREJUDICE.
For the first time ever one of Perth’s most beautiful locations will be transformed into a stunning theatre under the stars, with a tasteful dash of bogan for good measure.
The brains behind Bogan Shakespeare, BS Productions, are expanding their acclaimed repertoire into the realm of beloved literary classics for a limited season running from April 13 until May 7 (tickets on sale now).
If you’ve ever enjoyed BS Productions’ take on Shakespeare you’ll have some idea of what to expect as you journey to the Longbourn estate in Joondalup, where the Bennett family women will attempt to woo some rather successful FIFO workers from Hillarys.
Arrive early and indulge in some seriously delicious eats. Huxtaburger will be slinging mouth-watering burgers, hot chippies, and crispy chicken, while The Candy Bar has all your snack and bev needs covered.
