Perth Festival @ Various
One of Perth’s most anticipated events, Perth Festival, kicks off this weekend! Running through until March 3 this year’s program is a bright, warm selection of performance, fine and contemporary music, film, literature and ideas and visual arts. Polarity: Fire & Ice @ Fremantle Arts Centre
Polarity: Fire & Ice is an exhibition of immersive film and photographic works of artists living in Australia, the Arctic and Canada, showcasing at Fremantle Arts Centre until Sunday 28 April. Capturing the impact of the climate catastrophe across the world, it’s told through the voices of First Nations artists alongside non-Indigenous artists. Find out more here.
Monet in Paris @ Burswood Park

Death Metal Summer @ AGWA
Death Metal Summer: Deanna Templeton and Ed Templeton brings together over 140 photographs by two of our era’s most vital artists, featuring works from 1995-2022. The show features many of the married couple’s most famous images and runs until April – find out more here.

100 Free Margaritas @ Honkey Tonk Blues
Honky Tonk Blues down in Freo is celebrating World Margarita Day with 100 free margaritas from 6pm with the legends at Idle Hands Drinks Co. After that they’ll be just $15 for the rest of the night, best enjoyed with beautiful beef brisket tacos (also $15).

WA’s most iconic open water swimming event is on this Saturday, now in its 34th year and featuring over 2,600 participants from around the world!
