After a massively successful sold out installation at Flinders Street Station in Melbourne, acclaimed street artist Rone is bringing an exclusive new exhibition to The Art Gallery of Western Australia (AGWA) this July.

Taking over AGWA’s historic Centenary Galleries, this fully immersive, ticketed public exhibition will feature Rone’s haunting murals, with new installations exclusive to Perth!

Tickets are now on sale for TIME • RONE, along with the special opening night launch event on Saturday 29 June, which include a drink on arrival and light refreshments while you explore the exhibition.

TIME • RONE sees the Centenary Galleries fully opened for the first time in almost 20 years, allowing for an immersive experience the likes of which Perth has never seen, running from June 29-September 30, 2024.

“TIME • RONE broke all expectations with more than 100,000 visitors to the space for a limited season event in Melbourne,” said AGWA Director Colin Walker.

“This is Rone’s only exhibition in 2024 and we know it will be an absolute hit.

Taking over 12 rooms over two floors, the immersive installations will feature an original soundscape composed by Nick Batterham which attendees will listen to while walking, breathing and living among the remnants of mid-century Australia.

“As a building it is a perfect setting,” said the artist of AGWA’s Centenary Galleries. “It allows me to blur the lines between my artwork and the building so you can’t tell where the art stops and the building starts.”

Part of the exhibition will also include immersive dinners, a RONE store and newly-built RONE-inspired bar space.
