Victoria Park’s Beloved Summer Street Party Will Take Over Albany Highway Next Month!
After a three year hiatus, Victoria Park’s popular Summer Street Party returns on Saturday 19 November from 4-9pm.
This free family event shuts down a huge section of Albany Highway between Duncan Street and Cargill Street for an afternoon of good vibes, great music and delicious food.
Live music will be a huge feature of the day across four different stages: the DJ Stage which will also feature a special performance by the Swing Shift Big Band and Perth Swing Dance Academy ; the Rhubarb Records Main Stage showcasing Odette Mercy & Her Soul Atomics; the Community Stage with Dangerous Delights and a mix of local artists and community groups; plus a variety of eclectic street performance artists at the Street Performance Stage.
Attendees will also find themselves swimming in a sea of roving performers, including Junkadelic, Freedom Fairies and Turning Pointe, along with some special pop-up performances that may surprise and delight!

Other event highlights will include a range of fun family-friendly activities like carnival rides and games, a foam party, a groovy silent disco, rock climbing, an inflatable obstacle course, and a kids play zone for the little ones.
Once you’ve partied up a hunger, grab a bite to eat from the selection of international food stalls that will line Albany Highway, as well as the ‘Food Truck Square’, and there’ll also be a variety of market stalls where you can shop for a trinket or two (just in time for Christmas!).
