Perth’s home of high performance: HBF Stadium becomes Perth HPC
New year, new name! The venue you knew as HBF Stadium has officially rebranded as the Perth High Performance Centre (Perth HPC).
Since opening in 1986, the venue has been at the forefront of high-performance sport, offering world-class training, competition, and major event facilities.
A legacy that is now proudly reflected in the new name of Perth HPC.
Still located in the western suburbs sporting hub of Mount Claremont, Perth HPC continues to serve as a homebase for athletes and sports enthusiasts alike – a unique place where community and elite sports converge to enhance WA’s vibrant sporting culture.
Perth HPC boasts three 50m pools, a dive pool and an outdoor water polo pool, catering to swimmers of all levels, from casual swimmers to elite athletes.
Additionally, the venue is home to the Bruce Prance Dryland Diving Centre, a state-of-the-art indoor facility where divers can practice ten times as many dives as traditional water-based training.
Meanwhile, the basketball facilities have been upgraded to include a new Level 1 FIBA certification court, which can accommodate everything from local games to national tournaments.
Perth HPC will continue to proudly support both high performance sport and world class events – from international musicians to national sporting competitions, fans can enjoy an intimate experience and create unforgettable moments.
Recent events include Macklemore, Chase Atlantic, HoopsFest, the running-hot Perth Lynx’s home games, and Eternal MMA.
And while the venue is further embracing its high performance athlete offerings, the services you know and love are still available including Swim School, Kids Gymnastics and the newly upgraded Gym.
