Mixed teams from 18 countries will compete across two cities (us and Sydney) over a 10-day period, competing for not only national pride but a whopping USD $10 million in prize money, and 500 ranking points.
Most exciting for tennis fans is the news that Serbian world No. 1 Novak Djokovic will be a part of his country’s team, while women’s world No. 2 Iga Swiatek will also be appearing, representing Poland.
These countries, as well as homegrown heroes Australia and defending champions USA, will compete alongside Great Britain, Spain, China, Czech Republic and Brazil in the group stage in Perth.
Each city hosts three groups comprised of three teams, who compete in a round robin format, with each tie comprising one men’s and one women’s singles match, plus one mixed doubles match.
