We love to hit up our favourite restaurants, bars and pubs for a feed – but what about when the wallet is a bit tighter?

We’re all feeling the cozzie livs pressure, so we’ve compiled a list of just a few of our favourite nightly specials around Perth, from steak and parmi nights to pasta and vino specials.

MONDAY

Besk – Rangers Valley steak frites, tarragon and mustard sauce and a walnut salad for $30. Select a bottle from the shop and you’ll score free corkage.

The Local Hotel – Your choice of beef, chicken, fish or haloumi burger, plus fries and a pint of beer for $25.

The Royal – The French Dip for $22. Slow roasted beef roll, Swiss cheese, horseradish mayo, beef dipping sauce, crispy potatoes

Johnny Fox’s – Steak night: 250g Grass Fed Harvey Beef Rump with your choice of chips and salad or mash and veg plus your choice of sauce for $22.

Subi Hotel – Any pub classic meal plus a pint of Swan or house wine for $25.

The Claremont Hotel – 2-for-1 pizzas.

The Wray Hotel – Rump steak, chips and salad for $18. Upgrade to mash and roast veg for $4.

The Oxford Hotel – Cop a chicken parmi for an almost-too-crazy-to-be-true $14, or pizzas are $15 all day.


TUESDAY

La Madonna Nera – Pasta & Vino for $30. Two different pastas & a white, orange or red wine on the boards every week (vegetarian & gluten free option always).

St Brigid – Chicken sando & chips with a boozy bev for $30.

Edward & Ida’s – Ultimate parmi & pint for $30. Juicy, cornflake crusted schnitty topped with smoked tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and a crown of crisp mortadella, served with curried fries and a pint of Beerfarm IPL. $10 pints of Beerfarm IPL all night.

The Royal – Burger & beer for $25. The Royale with Cheese plus a selected schooner

H&C Urban Winery – Burger & chips plus a pint of Swan of glass of house wine for $24, available from midday.

Johnny Fox’s – Parmageddon: choose from six different parmis for $20.

Subi Hotel – 250g porterhouse steak with salad and chips for $25.

Rosemount Hotel – $16 pizzas all day, plus $16 jugs.

The Civic Hotel – $15 schnitties, served with chips and salad.

The Wray Hotel – Free range parmi, chips and salad for $18. Upgrade to mash and roast veg for $4.


WEDNESDAY

Patio – $10 sub & chips, $10 house wines.

Seasonal Brewing Co. – Chicken parmi served with chips and side salad for $20, available from 5pm.

Bertie – Bangers and mash, Cumberland sausage, truffle mash, Bertie gravy for $25.

Edward & Ida’s – Handmade pie & pint for $30. Hunker down with any of our hearty, handmade pies and a pint of Beerfarm IPL. (Choose from Beef & Guinness, Potato & Raclette or Curried Scallop.) $10 tinnies of Tennent’s all night.

The Royal – Steak night for $30. 300g scotch fillet, chips, gravy & mixed leaf salad

Back Bar at Hylin – $12 parmis from 4:30PM. Vegetarian option available, no takeaways, only available with a drink purchase.

Jetty – $20 lamb gyros & schooner of Southcamp beer or vino

Johnny Fox’s – Chicken, beef or plant-based burger for $12, add chips for $6.

Subi Hotel – Your choice of five parmis, served with chips and salad for $23.

Rosemount Hotel – $18 parmis all day.

Young George – Pizza Party: choose from three pizzas and a glass of red or white wine for $18, available from 4PM.

The Wray Hotel – Barra and chips for $18.


THURSDAY

Bertie – Steak, fries, wedge salad for $30.

The Royal – Oh Schnitz for $26. Free-range half chicken, golden crumb, royal mash, pan gravy, lemon.

El Grotto – $4 tacos from 4PM plus drink specials.

Back Bar at Hylin – Your choice of American cheeseburger, buttermilk chicken burger, falafel burger plus chips for $12 from 4:30PM. No takeaways, only available with a drink purchase.

Johnny Fox’s – Steak sandwich served with chips for $20.

Subi Hotel – Full rack of ribs with salad and chips for $25.

Rosemount Hotel – $20 steaks all day.

The Wray Hotel – Porterhouse steak, chips and salad for $20. Upgrade to mash and roast veg for $4.


FRIDAY

Edward & Ida’s – Seasonal pastie & pint for $20 (lunch only). From 12PM-4PM, dig into a deliciously frugal Worker’s Lunch of handmade pasties. Seasonal fillings wrapped in bacon-fat pastry, washed down with a pint of Beerfarm IPL.

The Royal – Fish pie for $22. Local fish pie with potato, mixed herbs, capers, puff pastry, salad.

Back Bar at Hylin – Steak sandwich for $12 from 4:30PM. Vegetarian option available, no takeaways, only available with a drink purchase.

SATURDAY

The Royal – “The Royal Feast” (serves 4) for $75. Rotating weekly roast with bread, crispy fried potatoes and mixed leaf salad. (All weekend).


SUNDAY

Bertie – Chicken schnitzel, coleslaw, gravy for $25.

Si Paradiso – Freshly shucked $2 oysters.
