The best things to do with (or for) dad around Perth this Father’s Day

Welp, as per usual Father’s Day is just around the corner and if you haven’t planned anything yet, we’re here to help!

One for the gin-loving dads out there, Republic of Fremantle have released a special limited release Navy Strength Gin to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Australia II victory! Good old fashioned lotto ticket
Quick, easy, and potentially very lucrative, scratchies are fun and easy to keep the old man content – with a lovely card of course! A couple of West Aussies recently cleaned up on scratchies, taking home $300,000 in Willetton and $200,000 in Kalgoorlie! Otherwise grab him a SlikPik 10 for under $10, who knows he might even share the spoils with you if he wins…
Besk

Decadent Father’s Day lunch
The Ritz-Carlton is putting on a pearler of a lunch in Hearth Restaurant this Father’s Day, featuring four fine courses including Linley Valley pork severed with quandong, white onion and yuzu sesame and Amelia Park lamb with cucumber, burnt lemon, river mint and smoked lamb fat jus. Bar Rogue
Bar Rogue is putting on a special three-course dad’s edition of the Sunday Lunch, featuring turmeric flatbread w/ dips, shaved wagyu bresaola & prosciutto, cold pork pie and pickles, followed by big T-Bones for the main event with chippies and salad, capped off with some cheesecake and maybe even some sneaky WA rock lobster – book here.
Tickets to a show at RAC Arena
We know how life is… If you’re flat stick just trying to survive the day to day grind, we may have a solution for your last minute Father’s Day gift hustle: RAC Arena’s upcoming schedule is jam-packed with international music stars, along with the return of the Red Army for the Wildcats next season. Speaking of pubs, we recently we did the hard yakka to find some of WA’s best country pubs, and while a few of them might be a bit too far away, there’s plenty of gems definitely within driving distance.

Galway is serving up their signature Sunday roast all day for $28 and throwing in a pint of the black stuff for the dad’s, and if he’s feeling frisky in the arvo there’ll be live music throwing down all the good jigs.
Father’s Day Feast at The Raffles
The Raffles are putting on a special $28 Meat Platter for the old fellas, featuring slaw, ribs, brisket and pulled pork cornbread from 11.30am, plus $10 pints of Swan and live music from 1-5pm. Book ahead here.
Sunday Set Menu @ Si Paradiso
One of our fave Sunday sessions around town is ramping back up as head towards spring with a new a beautiful share-style set menu for just $45pp, featuring slow-cooked Amelia Park lamb along with squid fritti, Paradiso bread, sides and snacks fit for the whole family. What’s an ultimate Father’s Day look like for your old man? If it features live music, a fresh cut at the barber, beer and whiskey tasting, a car show and an epic steak sandwich, make a bee-line for The Claremont Hotel.
Free drink for dad at The Bentley
Cop The Bentley’s classic Sunday Roast special for $25 and if you book dad in ahead they’ll shout him a drink on arrival. There’s also free kids entertainment from 12-2pm, plus little kids eat free with any big kids meal purchased.
Drinks by the river at Jetty
Head to Jetty for brunch from 8.30am or lunch and dinner after midday, with DJs spinning laidback tunes from 2pm, drink specials and a few special dishes just for dad.

Topi banquet
Dive into a delicious Topi Banquet from 11am with all the good stuff like Duck Samosas, Dhai Puri, Tandoori Chicken and Lamb Korma, with sides and desserts galore. It’s only $55pp, and you can book ahead here.
